The Dreamer: OSR Random Advancement Table

The Dreamer is the first in a series of OSR materials aimed at those kids who didn't grow up with heavy metal, Jack Vance, or many of the other things you may see in Appendix N. These materials are an attempt to bridge the psychedelic science-fantasy worlds that inspired Gygax with the Appendix N that I grew up on: epics from China and India, and video game RPGs from Japan. 

For the "DREAM" tag for this project, I went with LIGHTDREAM. This is a reference both to the light-hearted nature of the content as well as to the preoccupation with entities "of light" in the original Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. 

The Dreamer was created for the DREAMjam, a SWORDDREAM game jam.
